Speaker, Author, Spiritual Coach

Hello Everyone, I am so excited to connect with you. God called me to be a Gardener of the Heart, when I knew absolutely nothing about gardening. When my children were little, He told me that their hearts were my garden, and taught me how pull weeds, and plant seeds, and pray down the rain of the Holy Spirit. In 1997 God birthed Garden of the Heart Ministries, to help others learn how to cultivate a soft heart in themselves and in others through prayer. Journaling is a big part of it. I have been journaling for over 38 years, and it is probably one of the greatest tools that God has used in my life, to fine tune my hearing His voice, and keep my heart pliable to His hand. So you can understand why I love this spiritual discipline so much. I have been speaking for over 20 years and have authored several books. I was certified as a life coach and life coach trainer when working  as the Coaching Director at thinkmarriage.org and I am a prayer and journaling coach; skills that I need to help encourage you. Over the past 43 years of walking with Jesus, I have experienced the miraculous and found that God answers prayer and NOTHING is impossible with Him.

I love Jesus and have a passion for prayer and praying for prodigals. If you would like us to add your prodigal to our prayer list stop over at our Prodigal Breakthrough Facebook Page.

Your heart is Gods Garden and He is calling you to co-labor with Him there. If you don’t like the view, you can pull weeds and plant new seeds. We use Journaling techniques and prayer aimed at the heart. So let’s get planting SEEDS and pulling WEEDS and watch our lives BLOOM together.

I have been married to that handsome man in the picture above for 50 years. We have 5 wonderful children together and 14  grandchildren and a 3 1/2 pound Yorkie Pooh. I love photography … so you will probably see me out and about with my camera if you live nearby. XO Debra
