Putting on the Armor of
God Based on Ephesians 6:10-18 I gird my loins with truth,
for Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one
comes to the Father except through You. (John 14:6)
I put on the breastplate of righteousness, for I am in You,
Christ Jesus, and You have become my righteousness, holiness and
redemption. (1Cor 1:30)
I shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace,
for Jesus, You are my peace, and You keep me in perfect peace as I
keep my mind stayed on You. (Eph 2:14; Is 26:3)
I take the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming missiles
of the evil one, for I have faith in Your name, Jesus, and in
the power of Your blood. (Acts 3:16; Heb 10:19-21)
I take the helmet of salvation, for salvation is found in no one
else but You, Jesus; for there is no other name under heaven given
to men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
I take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, for
the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged
sword; and Jesus, You are the living Word. (Heb 4:12; John 1:1,14)
And I will pray at all times in the Spirit, with all
perseverance and petition for all the saints, for Your Spirit
intercedes for us according to the will of God (Rom 8:27)
Now pray the following personalized scriptures:
I strip off my former sinful nature and lay aside the old self,
which is corrupted through the lusts of deceit; and I am constantly
being renewed in the spirit of my mind. Eph 4:22-24
I put on and clothe myself with the Lord Jesus Christ, and I make no
provision for indulging the flesh and gratifying its desires. Rom
13:14
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ
lives in me. The life that I live in the body, I live by faith in
the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Gal 2:20
My old self was crucified with Christ so that the body of sin might
be done away with; I will no longer be a slave to sin. Rom 6:6
I will not let sin reign in my mortal body so that I obey its evil
desires. I will not offer the parts of my body to sin, as
instruments of wickedness, but rather I offer myself to God, as one
who has been brought from death to life. I offer my body to God as
an instrument of righteousness. Rom 6:12-13
I have been raised up with Christ, and I keep seeking the things
that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. I
set my mind on things above, not on earthly things. Col 3:1-2
I choose to walk and live [habitually] in the [Holy] Spirit
[responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit]; then I will
certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of my flesh (of human
nature without God). Gal 5:16 AMP
