(Prov 15:1 NASU) By faith I declare that my tongue is gentle [with its healing power] and is a tree of life, and I do not allow willful contrariness in it because it breaks down the spirit. (Prov 15:4 AMP) I choose to use long forbearance and calmness of spirit so that even a judge or ruler is persuaded, and I use soft speech that breaks down the most bonelike resistance. (Prov 25:15 AMP) The tongue of the wise brings healing, so help me to have a wise tongue.
